LAKE FOREST YACHT CLUB
The Yacht Club is a small social club made up of association members who enjoy events and activities in and around the lake.   The club’s mission statement is to engage in activities that enhance the living experience on Hidden Lakes for both the club’s members and the association membership as a whole.

The Yacht Club, with well over 100 members, is a strong advocate of protecting our lakes, forests, and lifestyle.  We do so with our series of events and parties which include members and non-members alike.   Events include:  July 4th Holiday Parade and Boat Decorating Contest:   This event is done in conjunction with the festivities hosted by the association at the club.

Christmas Boat Parade and Santa’s Arrival:  Also done in conjunction with the holiday event at the clubhouse and Santa is brought to the clubhouse by boat.  Community Boat Rides:   The Yacht Club’s members donate several evenings during the holiday season for the association membership to come to the club for a ride around the lake to enjoy the decorations from a different perspective.  The club also has three major events held for its members in the Spring, Summer, and Fall which feature food, beverages, and entertainment which is included in the annual dues.  Please note that alcohol is served at some of these events and therefore over 21 years of age in recommended.

THE YACHT CLUB IS OPEN TO ALL ASSOCIATION MEMBERS AND YOU DO NOT NEED TO OWN A BOAT OR LIVE ON THE LAKE TO BECOME A MEMBER.  Living in this community presents a unique lifestyle.   The Yacht Club maximizes that experience by its water themed events and by participation in association events.   It is a great value and we encourage all new homeowners to contact Denny Bethke, Commodore at dkb1@cox.net to learn more and/or to attend at upcoming event.
